Same industry. It's a splinter company from my current employer. Thus I already know the industry and many of the staff, so there shouldn't be a huge learning curve. I get a pay rise, a signing on bonus, equity in the company. And I'm the CIO. And most importantly, staying with my previous employer meant working for a toxic boss. That's now a thing of the past
