Do any of the shops on site sell d cell battery's (the big fat ones)? I know the miss Daisy website doesn't

Just go to you local B&M, Home and Bargain, Poundland, whatever, and buy what you need. I think the big ones are two for a quid.

I think the general supplies store near where the strongest man/knights arena sold batteries last year, but expect to pay a rediculous mark up on them. If you want to save your money for e.g. booze, do as Gandalf suggests and come prepared.

You're problably right. TBH my memory is such that there might not even be a shop where I think it is. :lol:

Even if there was a shop there that sold batteries last year, there's no guarantee that they'd have batteries again this year.
